in accordance with its
information – educational program with the
assistance of Belarusian cement plants will hold the regular seminar “Modernization
and construction of new cement plants in
Russia and CIS countries”.
The seminar
will take place in Belarus republic,
Mogilev, and at cement plant, from
25 to 28 of March, 2024.
Radical solution to modernize the cement
industry in Russia and the CIS countries is
only possible by significantly increasing
the portion of dry clinker process instead
of wet. Only this way increasing competition
in the global market can be overcome.
Despite the fact that over the past five
years, Russia has introduced a number of new
cement plants and a number of production
lines, working on the dry method of
production at existing plants, the share of
energy-intensive wet process in the industry
is still high at almost 60%.
Rapidly rising energy prices increasingly
stimulate further modernization of existing
plants with a substantial increase in the
proportion of the dry method. At the same
time, such modernization occurs with an
increase in cement production. The most
obvious example is the modernization of the
cement industry in the Belarus Republic and,
in particular, at "Belarusian Cement Plant".
Almost several years capacity of three cement
plants has been increased by more than 2
times by commissioning three production
lines dry process clinker production, which
share in the industry exceeded 60%.
- Advantages and disadvantages of dry,
semi-dry and wet process;
- Cement plants design features of in modern
conditions;
- Environmental aspects in the cement
manufacture;
- The use of alternative fuels in the
production of clinker;
- Modern technological schemes and equipment
for clinker burning, crushing and grinding
of raw materials and cement quarry
equipment, mining machine, blasting
equipment, transportation and storage of raw
materials, blending depository;
- Cement plants energy management,
instrumentation and automation of the cement
production;
- Control of chemical and phase composition
of raw materials, clinker, cement and
additives;
- Transport, storage and packaging of
cement;
- Refractory materials, grinding parts and
other consumables.
Program includes
a
tour at modern cement plant.
It’s known that in Russia and the CIS are
designing and constructing a number of
cement plants with dry method clinker
production lines. I am sure that
professionals of these companies, and almost
all cement plants will be interesting to see
the work of the new "dry" cement production
line (5,000 tons of clinker per day), as
well as experience in the use of alternative
fuels and
the work of its own turbine power
plant flue gases which are used for drying
of raw materials.
In conclusion, the
work program for the participants is also
provided cultural program and tech. excursion.

companies producing equipment for cement
